Peter Newsham, the chief of the Metropolitan Police Department in the nation’s capital, said the boy was shot in the head in the 1400 block of Cedar Street when a group of about five men started “shooting up in the area” at around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday night. ABC News and Langer Research Associates released on Friday new polling data showing that significantly more Americans disapprove of Biden’s response to crime than approve of his handling of the problem. While nearly half (48 percent) said they disapprove of Biden’s handling of crime, only 38 percent said they approve. Americans are about evenly split when it comes to which political party they view as better at responding to crime....

While this is common practice for the department, this year’s deployment is not as extensive as the one from the 2016 election, when personnel were sent to 67 jurisdictions across 28 states. However, the Justice Department plans to observe twice as many Michigan cities as it did four years ago. The original lawsuit between Epic Games and Apple was issued by Epic Games. It centered around a request Epic had made for Fortnite to be exempt from Apple’s iOS storefront policy.
