The team, co-owned by former NBA player Brad Daugherty, has formed a technical alliance with Richard Childress Racing for 2014 and will use Earnhardt Childress Racing engines. U.S. District Judge Michael Simon ordered agents to stop targeting legal observers and journalists at protests in Portland, Oregon on Thursday, in response to a lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Oregon. The order adds agents from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the U.S. Marshals Service to a previously issued restraining order placing the restrictions on local police. “This order is a victory for the rule of law,” Jann Carson, interim executive director of the ACLU of Oregon, said in a statement....

U.S. District Judge Analisa Torres in the Southern District of New York granted a temporary restraining order against detainees in ICE custody, agreeing with immigration advocates that it was not safe for them to remain in the correctional facilities. While ICE had taken some steps to address the COVID-19 outbreak, Torres agreed with immigration advocates that the agency had “exhibited and [continues] to exhibit, deliberate indifference to [detainees’] medical needs,” in her ruling....

Dane County Circuit Judge Frank Remington said that the report by former state Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman and Republican Assembly Speaker Robin Vos improperly denied access to public records that they allegedly used. Remington stated that their “denials, delays, and refusals violate the letter and the spirit of Wisconsin’s public records law.” The report stated that Wisconsin should consider decertifying the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election due to potential voter fraud, a conclusion that both Democrats and Republicans have criticized....
