Rana Roop Singh Bhullar and Jennifer Luikham walked away with the boys and girls singles titles, respectively, in the Ozone Group ITF Junior (under-18) tennis tournament on Saturday.
In the boys final, Bhullar overcame fourth seeded Aryan Goveas 6-3, 7-6(2) to deny his opponent a double. Goveas had won the doubles title on Friday.
The girls final went the distance before Luikham put out Nandini Sharma 6-3, 1-6, 6-2 to annex the title.
Final results:
Boys singles: Rana Roop Singh Bhullar bt 4-Aryan Goveas 6-3, 7-6(2). Girls singles: 3-Jennifer Luikham bt 12-Nandini Sharma 6-3, 1-6, 6-2.
