Thanks to Juninho, that’s exactly what they got.

With the Sounders up, 2-0, the Galaxy took a corner. The ball volleyed around until it landed at the top of the 18’ and at the feet of the Galaxy midfielder.

With a low strike, Juninho sent it toward the net, bouncing off the left goalpost and past Sounders GK Stefan Frei.

The Galaxy won the first leg of the series, 1-0. Sunday night’s 2-1 loss meant the teams were tied at one win per team, sending it to a tie breaker. Los Angeles had more away goals, so they advanced to the next round.

LA will see the New England Revolution in the final on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 3 p.m. ET.
