RELATED:Jujutsu Kaisen: Geto’s Strongest Abilities
Jujutsu Kaisen anime is well known for how fluid its animation is, especially in the major fight scenes, which are a feast for the eyes and ears alike. With adaptations however, there is always a chance that certain moments do not translate perfectly. If the ball is ever to be dropped however, it should definitely not be on any of these moments.
This article contains spoilers from the Jujutsu Kaisen manga.
8 The Culling Game Prologue
Currently, Jujutsu Kaisen’s manga is progressing through the ‘culling game arc’, which functions akin to a battle royal. While the arc itself has been quite enjoyable, the chapters preceding it did a very poor job of explaining the mechanics of the game, by overloading the pages with hard to grasp text.
Having to adapt all the raw text contained in those manga panels cannot be an easy job, as anime doesn’t have the luxury of shoving several sentences in one frame. However the team at MAPPA decides to handle this, it needs to do a much better job than the manga did.
7 Gojo’s Sealing
It’s fair to say that having a character of Gojo’s power level around is problematic for a story that wants high stakes. Which is why Gojo inevitably gets sealed away by the villains. Fitting to his bombastic personality however, he doesn’t go out quietly.
Sealing Satoru Gojo takes several special grade curses, and a very precise plan, and it still barely gets accomplished. Since this will be Gojo’s last scene for a long time, he should receive all the budget MAPPA can spare, and go out in a scene that will be remembered for years to come.
6 Hakari vs Kashimo
Of all the fights that go down during the culling game arc, the battle between Hakari and Kashimo Is perhaps the most insane. While Kashimo has cursed abilities focused around speed, and high damage, Hakari manages to use his slot machine domain expansion to make himself basically invincible.

It’s the exact kind of no holds barred battle that Jujutsu Kaisen specializes in, and given the proper anime treatment could potentially become the best fight in the anime. It’s truly a battle between an unstoppable force and an immovable object.
5 Sukuna’s Attack on Shibuya
Just like the culling game arc, the Shibuya arc is a chaotic stack of fight after fight. Besides Gojo’s sealing, the other major scene from this arc is when Yuji gets fed several Sukuna fingers at once, allowing the king of curses to momentarily roam free.
Sukuna does a lot in his short time in Shibuya, but easily the most terrifying is when he practically deletes a crater of buildings for fun. The sheer scale and speed of this destruction comes across quite well in the manga, and the anime needs to match that in its own way.
4 Yuta’s return
Off the back of Jujutsu Kaisen 0’s massive success, anime fans are surely excited to see Yuta Okkotsu make an appearance in the main story. While they will have to wait until after the Shibuya arc to get this, his return really is worth it.
After the events In Shibuya, Yuta returns to Japan and is sent to assassinate Yuji, resulting in a stellar confrontation between the two. This scene not only pops by pitting the two of them against each other, but by showing off what years of training after Jujutsu Kaisne 0 has done for Yuta’s skills.
3 Yuji and Todo vs Mahito
This is easily the big fight of the Shibuya arc. Fans have already seen the kind of damage Yuji and Todo can deal together in the anime, but their battle against Mahito turns their teamwork and spectacle up even higher.

Not to be outshone, Mahito also evolves a lot in this fight, developing a new form entirely. It’s a satisfying battle that ends with one of the most satisfying moments in Jujutsu Kaisen, as Mahito finally receives the consequences that have been coming to him since his first introduction.
2 Maki’s Awakening
Despite her lack of cursed energy, Maki Zenin is one of the most likable members of Jujutsu Kaisen’s cast. However, her abilities hit a wall in Shibuya, requiring her to evolve to grow. Unfortunately, this ends up costing her her sister, but the resulting strength she receives makes her one of the strongest characters in the series.
After her upgrade, Maki goes on to massacre the entirety of the Zenin clan, finally paying them back for her abuse, and giving the fans a killer combat sequence that needs to also pay justice to the simultaneous tragedy of Maki’s loss.
1 Toji vs Gojo
Toji Zenin is easily the most exciting part of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2. He’s only featured in a flashback arc, but makes the ultimate impression in his short time. Being completely unable to use cursed energy just like Maki, Toji is still a massive threat that pushes a young Gojo to his limits.
Not only is he important to the growth of Fushiguro, Maki and Gojo, but his fight with Gojo is also one of the best in the series. It even makes stellar use of the manga format, warping the panels to the whim of the characters. Even if nothing else on this list lives up to expectations, Toji vs Gojo should.
